I want a busy tone

We have 4 extensions on one of our servers that have voicemail disabled. If they happen to be on the phone and you dial their extension you get a voice prompt that they are not available and please enter another extension number.

If I wanted another extension I would have dialed it! Can some one explain the logic in this?

I just want a busy tone. Is there some way to disable the voice prompt in this situation?

Thanks,
Gasmanz

That's how mine works! Below

That's how mine works!

Below is the FreePBX busy script.

Maybe there is an option somewhere?

; Extensions with no Voicemail box reporting BUSY come here
exten => s-BUSY,1,NoOp(Extension is reporting BUSY and not passing to Voicemail)
exten => s-BUSY,n,Playtones(busy)
exten => s-BUSY,n,Busy(20)

Why?

Mike,

Is there a reason that you don't have this option on the trixbox pro?

Are you looking at making it an option in the future?

We would really like to have this option for the non voicemail extensions.

Gasmanz, This feature is not

Gasmanz,

This feature is not on our current roadmap. The reason that this is not on our todo list is that I have never, like not even once seen. When putting our development team on projects, we have to think about the ROI. Is this feature more important than fixing BUG_001? I would argue that it's not.

In any event, I made a feature request for you to our engineering and product team.

Thanks!
Mike
