Trixbox Voicemail

I have recently run in to a problem where my TB won't forward to Voice Mail. I can dial into VM internally and even externally from my AA but when I call an extension and let it ring though, it just pauses and then says "goodbye".

Any one have a clue? I was working fine and then just stopped. I've restarted the server multiple times with no luck.

I'm really a dummy when it comes to the Asterisk stuff... but i bought a Trixbox appliance so i wouldn't have any of these problems and here I am... $1750 later and having problems..

Would be of any information that when I'm on the CP admin site that I can not even listen to my on-hold music or greetings?

Ya know the sad thing is

Ya know the sad thing is that I'm trying to figure this out via the forum because apparently even if you spend the $$$$ to get the "100% working compatible" system that you still have to spend hundreds to get to talk to tech support.

Any other thoughts?

Hi Jeff, I believe we have

Hi Jeff,

I believe we have this resolved for you -- can you confirm for us?

Can you let me know when you installed your trixbox system? Was it just today? During the activation, did you receive any error messages regarding network issues that prompted you and required your input to continue?

Thanks,
Samy

Samy - Sorry for the delay

Samy -

Sorry for the delay response. I have had to fly to 2 different offices since posting and I've not been able to check my email. Thank you! You did fix this issue for me!

Here's the deal about why it may have looked as if I just installed today. I was having (so I think) issues with the first appliance I bought. I've had a posting on this site about my LAN card not generating an IP address and not being able to dial more digits after I place the call. I've read about the DTMF and about the LAN IP thing with no luck so I had VoIPSupply replace the system. I was told to always use my same user/pass when activating so that my settings would be saved. Any rate, I got the new system, activated it, and still could not get a LAN IP and could get my VoIP account to let me dial out or allow for an extension to be pushed when someone called in so I switched back to my old system.

If you were able to look at this for me can you please also look and see why I am having DTMF problems and maybe see why my appliance is not creating a LAN IP?

P.S. I did not receive any network issues that required my input. I watched this system boot back up and connect to the VPN just fine.
