Beta Firmware 1.4.2 Available for Test
Aastra Telecom will soon be releasing a new software update for the 480i, 9133i, 9112i, and 480iCT IP phones.
Release 1.4.2 delivers various feature enhancements, including:
- XML support for virtual web servers and extra control over the text menu object
- Redial list improvements – accessible during a call and storing of “pause” keys
- The ability to use a speed dial key to send DTMF digits during a call
- Incoming calls no longer cause partially dialed numbers to be lost.
This release also resolves a number of issues, including:
- Fixed random crashes when connected to an Asterisk server, caused by out of dialog SIP messages
- Intercom calls no longer interrupt the active call on the phone placing it on hold
- Pressing the left cursor key no longer crashes the 480iCT phone
- A long dial plan with prepend entries doesn’t stop the phone booting anymore
- Fixed intermittent crash during auto-resync and XML reboots.
