I attempted to start hudlite-server using /usr/local/fonality/hud/hudlite-server -debug2 and received the following error: Name contains invalid start character: '& # x 2 0 ;' (actual error message does not have spaces in between the single quotes).

There was a previous error of parserdetails.ini but it disappeared after I installed the perl-XML-SAX package. I am running Trixbox CE 2.2.9 and have not made any changes to the configuration files for hudlite.

In addition, I verified that Asterisk and IRCd are running while hud is not (using ps -wax). Here's the output when attempting to telnet from a remote client:
:HUDserver NOTICE AUTH : *** Looking up your hostname...
:HUDserver NOTICE AUTH : *** Checking Ident
:HUDserver NOTICE AUTH : *** No Ident response
:HUDserver NOTICE AUTH : *** Couldn't look up your hostname

I figured out the problem.

I figured out the problem. It had to do with importing an users.xml file from another server to this one. One of the users had an ampersand in the name and by changing that, it started correctly.
