While I appreciate the comments, without specifics about what is "not good" versus the Windows version, I can't be of much help.

Internet Explorer/Firefox Integration

HUD is a great product, and the Outlook integration is awesome. I think it would be awesome if it could integrate into Internet Explorer and Firefox too. At our company, we use a company intranet for about 50% of our productivity throughout the day, and it contains most of our clients' phone numbers...so, it would be cool if you could just right-click on a number, and choose something like 'Call using HUD' or something.

Just a suggestion of another cool feature. ;)

HudLite Macro

I used a product called Macro MD to create a macro that will pull up HUD and place a dial string into the Hud dial box from anything that you can highlight on the screen and place in the copy buffer. I've done this as a test and it may need a little work but it does work. Occasionally the HUD input field doesn't get cleared out and causes some problems(Needs more work here).

Here's the link: http://www.macromd.com

"We do not publish the API"

"We do not publish the API" -- cool, but it uses IRC protocol for server-client communications, so a sniffer will do the job here.

What I'm missing in HUD?
Ability to dial from command line.
Something like hud-lite --dial 18001234567

(Linux ver here)

Any chance of getting a copy of your macro?

Kerry, there are two things my clients have asked for. One is the ability to define your own away message. The other is the ability to print out daily reports of the phone's status (they'd use it to track when employees arrive and leave).
