For outgoing calls, 'Speaking To' doesn't show any number

When a call is made, the extension icon goes green and a text appears saying 'SPEAKIG TO'. It is supposed to show the numer this extension is seaking to, but it doesn't show anything.

For incoming calls on all extensions it show the number with no problem.

I have this problem with my 3 Trixbox installations at different locations.

What am I doing wrong here?

I have the same issue with two of my Trixbox installs. One is 1.2.2 and the other is the 2.0RC1. Any light on the issue would be greatly appreciated. I thought maybe it was a privacy thing for those making calls...

the same problem also here.
trixbox 2.0
hudlite-server 1.4.5-1
hudadmin 1.1.0-1

also hudlite don't recognize the language option

Someone needs to come up with a better product than HUD. HUD has problems, limitations, with no hopes of any improvement.

no problem zishanov. we are waiting to see your new software. I would love to have a product better than HUD. But for now I use HUD all day everyday and it works great.

Also a new server that resolves all of the reported problems in on the BETA server now.

Seems like you didn't like me saying that there should be something better than HUD. Isn't it true that HUD has limitations and no hope for improvements. For example, there is no view of Queues and Trunks, which they also don't plan to put into it as informed to me on their hudlite.org forum by their developer. Only one instance of HUD lite can run at a time and can connect to only one server at a time. Also it doesn't tell you which extensions have unread voicemails. Doesn't show whic extensions are online and which ones offline, unless qualify is set to yes, even that always doesn't work smoothly.

Then, asking a question about a problem takes for ever for someone to answer. Most of the time, the answer is not helpful anyways. One has to experiment himself to correct the problems. How many people out there are expert enough in Linux to solve the problems themselves?

I wish I was enough expert in software development so that I could make something better than HUD. I like its interface and use it frequently, but feel a great need of improvement. If features of FOP can be put into HUD, then it will be a real good thing. May be I should look into hiring someone to make something which I want at a affordable price.

I only have one problem with hudlite. Not the bugs, software is bound to have bugs especially something cool like this. My problem is that it is not open source.

I do not see new hudlite server in the beta packages list? Got another way to install?

I have the same problem with:

Trixbox 2.0
Hudlite server 1.4.6
Hudlite client 1.1.160

Could someone let us know if this is even being worked on and when a possible fix may be out.

I also have the same problem with the same configuration:

Trixbox 2.0
hudlite-server.i386 1.4.6
hudlite client 1.1.160

How to solve it ?
how to get the BETA version of server that solve it ?

I guess there is no solution to this problem. Maybe it works fine with PBXtra but not with trixbox.

in /usr/local/fonality/hud/logs/server.log

2007-02-26 11:44:17: doLink> possible failure to recognize outbound call details from extension (326) since the caller id number is missing. Channel (SIP/mayberry-099cf848)

but this is an outbound call, so it should be pulling from something other than caller id.
