trixbox endpoint manager for polycom Soundpoint IP 500

Can I use the 501 setting in the endpoint manager to set-up these phones?

It works on my testing server. IP500 and IP 501 are the same core. I think the only difference is 501 is PoE.

I know the 500 and 501 are similar, but the 500 has limited flash memory and can't use firmware newer then 2.1.2. I see some settings to automatically load 2.1.2 onto the 500s, but I wasn't sure how to set it up in the end point manager. Thanks again!

oh, and both phones require a power adaptor for either poe or ac.

I ended up modify the

I ended up modify the provisioning script to except 500 as an option. Then since I only have SoundPoint IP 500 and no 501s I then updated the default config to use the 2.1.2 firmware for all polycoms.
