Check out original thread at: http://www.trixbox.org/forums/trixbox-forums/help/phone-rings-bac...

I'm using a Rhino R8FXX-EC and I'm wondering if there's any known issues like this.

Ring Back Problem

I have a similar issue with no disconnect see:
http://www.trixbox.org/forums/vendor-moderated-forums/rhino-equip...

But I have also seen the Phantom Dial-Back as well.

We have a new piece of firmware for any disconnect issues. We are testing it now. If anyone would like to help us beta test it and see if it fixes your issues please contact Rhino support directly. Also If you are getting a phantom ring that is not an issue with our card.
Have you checked your physical lines etc...
We have no know issues of phantom ringing etc.

I have 3 different location

I have 3 different location 2 with Rhino R8FXX-EC and 1 with r4fxo, updated the latest firmware and drivers, still getting the ring back, happens mostly when incoming calls from cell phones ? maybe a coincidence. I know the latest firmware took care the disconnect issues. This happens after the call hangs up 10 seconds later the phones ring, but not everytime. I replaced the r4fxo card with a digium tdm400 a few days ago, no ring backs. I really like the rhino card for the echo cancellation and tech support.

I really need a solution for this. I have 3 more installs the next few weeks and have already purchased the r8fxx cards. I'm afraid this problem is going to continue.

Thanks Mike

Not here.

But if you do find a solution, please post it - I'm still seeing this same behavior.
