Beginning with the release of trixbox 2.2, if you are using a Rhino card, you will need to go to the Package Manager and install the Rhino package. This will setup the startup files and all the drivers.

The trixbox Yum repo appears

The trixbox Yum repo appears to be missing our packages......

To install Rhino Drivers do the following,

Connect directly to a console or open an SSH connection to your box.

type: uname -r

This will tell you if you are using an smp kernel.

Download the appropriate package:
2.6.9-34.0.2.ELsmp:
wget ftp://ftp.rhinoequipment.com/Drivers/Beta/RPMS/trixbox/CE/2.2/rhi...

2.6.9-34.0.2.EL:
wget ftp://ftp.rhinoequipment.com/Drivers/Beta/RPMS/trixbox/CE/2.2/rhi...

You can install the drivers with rpm

rpm -ivh rhino-2.6.9-34.0.2.EL*.rpm

Beta

James,

Just going off the names of the rpms, are these beta drivers considered stable enough for a production machine? Are they recommended to be installed on all versions of 2.2 - 2.3?

Thanks,

Doug

Rhino Channel Banks

James this drivers applies to channel banks or only for cards? I am having troubles with outgoing calls with a Sangoma A102D with 2 Rhino 1 24xFXO and 1 24xFXS channel bank.
Inbound calls goes well but when an outgoing call is dialed when the other phone is picked up, the call is hunged up.

Any ideas? I've tried changing rx gain, making changes on zapata's files such as
busydetect, busycount, callprogress, etc.. but nothing worked.

I am in Uruguay, I also tried defaultzone=us es ..
I have another Asterisk (older version) with a TDM400P and it works with defaultzone=us, so I don 't think that is an indication problem.

Could It be the Rhino or Sangoma drivers?
The drivers for Sangoma is wanpipe-3.2.1

Thanks
Dikran

No all driver releases are

No all driver releases are not for the Channel Banks. This actually sounds like you may have reverse polarity. Try setting your channel bank to Revp for all channels. That should do the trick.
