trixbox 2.6.0.5 and A200d (rpm repo drivers)

we have still problems with dtmf recognition.
from one fax machine everytime we loose the second digit. e.g. when i call 0215112345 asterisk recognise 015112345...
when i call with a normal telephone everything is ok. (i cant change any timing or dtmf settings on the fax machine.)

is the new hw dtmf recognition feature in wanpipe 3.3.x also available for the sangoma A200d analog card or only for A10xd????

a recording with ztmonitor sounds normal.
is it possible that when you dial the first digit the echo canceler produce something like noise??
or what could be the problem?

thanks for any answer...

"d" model + wanpipe-3.3.x

Hello,

If you have d-model card you can enable hardware DTMF feature with wanpipe-3.3.x. Go to http://wiki.sangoma.com/wanpipe-asterisk-trixbox-rpms#BRI-HWDTMF and download RPMs according to your trixbox version . Run "setup-sangoma" to configure the analog card. It will ask you, if you like to enable hardware DTMF or not; select YES and you are set to go. We have customer running hardware DTMF in production with digital and analog cards.

Thank you,

thank you for your reply.

thank you for your reply. (even though this is a little bit too late for me ;-))) )

i had this problems about one month ago and i installed the new wanpipe drivers and activated the hardware_dtmf feature and since that time the recognition works fine ;-)

How do I check my model number?

What command would I run to check the model number of my card? Specifically, how do I know if I am running the model d?

Re: Model Number

You can run:

wanrouter hwprobe
or
wanrouter hwprobe verbose

This will show you the card model number, hwec capability, firmware version number ... etc..

I ran the wanrouter commands

And his is my output:

-------------------------------
| Wanpipe Hardware Probe Info |
-------------------------------
1 . AFT-A200-SH : SLOT=4 : BUS=4 : IRQ=11 : CPU=A : PORT=PRI : HWEC=32 : V=10

Card Cnt: S508=0 S514X=0 S518=0 A101-2=0 A104=0 A300=0 A200=1 A108=0

If I am reading this right, am I running an "A" model?

Charles

Re: Card Model

Well the above command shows you the following
-> card type: A200-SH -> analog 4 port card
-> HWEC: 32 -> this means card model D with echo cancellation
-> Firmware Version: 10. -> you are not running latest firmware

http://wiki.sangoma.com/wanpipe-linux-drivers#aft_firmware

As you can see the above command gives you everything you need to know about your card.
The "wanrouter hwprobe verbose" option would should you FXO/FXS ports.

I hope this answers your questions.
