7970G doesn't always update

I've finally got life back into my 7970G however the configuration file that it's decided to load had a couple of errors -so I've sorted them and put it back onto the TFTP server however it doesn't seem to be picked up by the phone.

I know it's not picked up because I've changed the text in the top right. I've tried all sorts and because of the recent issues I had with the factory reset don't really want to go down that route so I wanted to find out if this was a common issue. Here's the TFTP log:

File is one of the configuration values I've removed -another bit of evidence that the phone isn't picking up the settings.
