Crickets? Do I hear Crickets?
Hi guys, this is a follow-up to an email request I made a week or so ago, but I figured I'd follow up here so others can benefit.
I've got this nagging issue with my TDM calls going through the PhoneBRIDGE-EC2. Occasionally i get a brief (1s) distortion in the audio that only occurs on TDM calls. It sounds like a cricket. I've heard it while in the office talking to someone outside the company and while outside calling into the company. It's not too often and very brief, but annoying.
I'm thinking its timing related. I've got a Time Warner Telecom PRI coming in and dedicated NIC in the server just for the PhoneBRIDGE. Currently I'm configured as a slave to the telco on port one and a master to our Adtran channel bank on port 2. I also experienced the issue prior to installing the channel bank. Any other ideas on how to deal with this issue?
Per our previous email exchange I've adjusted gain settings and master/slave values, but can't seem to resolve this one. If it would do any good, we can chat on the phone and perhaps you can hear what I'm hearing. I'd like to buy another one for a new office we're going to open mid-year, but not until I get this fixed.
Please feel free to contact us directly at support@red-fone.com so we can do some further troubleshooting. We can post the solution on the TB forum later on for the rest of the communities benefit.
Thanks,
