High Availability

Asterisk / trixbox offer no simple solution to load balancing, if thats what you are looking for this wont cover it. There is however a fairly straight forward method to fail over between 2 or more boxes. This assumes that there are 2 or more servers, but only one of them is being actively used, while the rest are in standby awaiting a failure.

HA can be done with pure SIP, PRI or T1 trunks using Redfone hardware, or analog lines wired in parallel.
